UK: Indian citizen defrauded American telephone providers and insurance companies, punishment to be decided on January 3
UK: Parag Bhavsar, 42, of Newark, was accused of submitting fraudulent claims to obtain cellular replacement equipment and using a fake identity to sell the equipment outside the US, US Attorney Philip R. Salinger said. The accused pleaded guilty before US District Judge Madeline Cox Arleo. It will be sentenced on January 3.
