Trump and Justice Department face to face in election fraud case, former President's demand – trial to start in 2026
US Election Fraud Case: His lawyers have dramatically suggested April 2026 as the date for the start of the trial against former President Donald Trump, who is accused of conspiracy to overturn the 2020 presidential election result. Earlier last week, Justice Department prosecutors had demanded the start of the trial on January 2, 2024.
