India has strongly rejected the comments of UN experts on Manipur. India's Permanent Mission has called the UN report unfairly speculative and misleading and said the situation in the northeastern state is peaceful. A report on Manipur was released by the UN Group Special Process Mandate Holders (SPMH), to which India has reacted strongly, expressing disappointment.
