Former PM of Thailand in prison deteriorated, admitted to hospital after chest pain
Thailand's former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has been admitted to the police hospital after suffering chest pain, hypertension, and lack of oxygen. He has been sentenced to 10 years in jail in three cases. Shinawatra was jailed on his return to Thailand after appearing in court on Tuesday, the Bangkok Post reported. According to reports, Thaksin fled Thailand in 2008.
